Add a Website to Your Android Home Screen Using Chrome

Launch the Chrome app on your mobile device and go to the website you wish to save as a shortcut on your Home Screen. After the site has loaded, open the Chrome Settings menu by selecting the three vertical dots in the top-right corner.

From the menu, tap the option labeled “Add To Home Screen.”

A screen will appear, allowing you to either automatically add the shortcut or choose its placement. This screen will display a preview of the shortcut icon. Select button with “Add Automatically” to place the icon in an available spot on your Home Screen.
If you’d like to move the shortcut to a specific location on your Home Screen, press and hold the icon, then drag it to your desired position before releasing it.

Add a Website to Your Android Home Screen Using Firefox

Open the Mozilla Firefox app on your Android device and visit the website you want to save as a shortcut on your Home Screen. Tap and hold the website’s URL in the address bar until a pop-up menu appears, then choose the “Add Page Shortcut” option.

A preview of the 1×1 icon will be displayed in a new window. Tap “Add Automatically” to place the shortcut on your Home Screen. If you wish to customize its location, press and hold the icon after it appears, then drag it to the desired spot on your Home Screen.
